Simmer ("the App") is a recipe management app that respects your privacy. The App is designed to work entirely on your device.
Simmer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
No account is required to use the App. The App does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or usage monitoring. Your data is never shared with third parties. The App contains no ads and no ad-related tracking.
All recipes and app data are stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This data is not transmitted to any server.
When you paste a recipe URL, the App fetches the webpage content directly from your device to extract recipe information. No intermediary server is involved.
The App does not use any third-party services that collect user data.
The App uses iOS built-in text-to-speech capabilities. All speech synthesis occurs on-device. No text is sent to external servers for processing.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
